3. From dusk to dawn, on unlit roads, instead of dipped headlights or in conjunction with them, the driver of a vehicle may use main beam headlights, provided that they do not blind other drivers or pedestrians moving in a convoy. The driver of a vehicle using main beam headlights is obliged to switch them to dipped headlights when approaching:
1) a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, and if one of the drivers has switched off the main beam headlights, the other is obliged to do the same;
2) a vehicle in front, if the driver may be blinded;
3) a rail or water vehicle, if they are moving at such a distance that there is a risk of blinding the drivers of these vehicles.
