In section eight we will discuss proper driver behaviour towards emergency vehicles.

We will focus on:

  • the driver's obligations in situations where an emergency vehicle appears with flashing lights and a siren while you are driving

This material will familiarise you with which vehicles can be considered emergency vehicles, e.g.:

  • police, fire protection units, border guard, prison service, road transport inspection, etc.

We will explain how to react to an emergency vehicle using signals and how to enable such units to pass smoothly.

In this section we will return to the topic of special caution, which is very important, as well as the previously discussed emergency corridor.

We will also mention the aspect of emergency vehicles travelling in a convoy.

There will also be a discussion of road traffic regulations and their practical application on the road.

After completing this material, you will learn important safety rules in road traffic and you will also help emergency services operate effectively.
