Section four is devoted to proper behaviour on the road and choosing the correct vehicle position.

Learning these rules is essential because you must know who has right of way at an intersection at a given moment so that driving is safe and collision-free — and this material explains exactly that.

You will be introduced to manoeuvres such as:

  • joining traffic, passing, overtaking, going around an obstacle, turning around, as well as reversing

You will learn how to behave when:

  • changing lanes and changing direction — including signalling manoeuvres and behaving properly towards other road users

We will discuss the rule of safe passing near a public transport stop and when approaching a pedestrian crossing — so that you are prepared for any situation on the road. The type of marking and the need for special caution will become clearer.

This section also covers zipper merge driving, the rules for using it and common myths that appear in practice.

Finally, we will discuss rules at railway crossings as well as when driving through a tunnel.
