In section 5 we will address traffic in special conditions.
These are situations that require from us:
- increased attention, choosing the appropriate level of caution and knowing the road traffic regulations
After watching this material, you will know how to behave when you find yourself at an intersection with traffic lights, as well as at one without traffic lights, where you must follow the right-hand rule.
This section also covers the very important topic of the emergency corridor. We will explain:
- why it is so important to know how to position yourself
- and which direction to move aside so you do not accidentally create danger for an emergency vehicle — or for yourself and other road users
The route won’t always be sunny — and even sunshine can create difficult conditions. Therefore, we will discuss rules for driving in different weather conditions such as:
- rain, fog or snow
We will highlight how weather affects visibility, braking distance and vehicle behaviour.
At the end, we will cover proper procedure in the event of a breakdown or a collision. As future drivers you must be prepared for different road situations that sometimes are beyond our control. That is why we will spend time explaining what to do in such cases, discuss relevant regulations and proper behaviour after such an event.
