The general rules are behind us, so it is time to move on to road signs.
This section is designed to ensure that during the practical part of the driving course, as well as in everyday driving, each of you understands traffic organisation rules perfectly and can recognise all signs on the road together with their meaning.
This third section will guide you through road sign categories, their division, meanings and the rules of validity in various road situations. We will discuss:
- vertical signs (e.g. warning, information, prohibition, mandatory, directions and localities)
- as well as horizontal markings
- we will also explain traffic lights, with a detailed analysis of their meaning at intersections and in conditions requiring increased caution
- we will also cover instructions and signals given by people directing traffic
The highlight of this material will be a deep dive into the hierarchy of importance of signals and instructions on the road, so you can understand which indication has priority when, for example, you see a red traffic light, underneath it a priority road sign, and right next to it a person directing traffic.
