In the final material you will become familiar with the construction of a Category B vehicle.
We will discuss the basic elements of vehicle construction, i.e. we will show what a car consists of, including:
- the drivetrain, suspension, steering system and braking system
These elements will be broken down into first principles so that every future driver can understand how each system works and what it includes.
For example, in the drivetrain you will find:
- (among other things: the engine, clutch and gearbox)
Section eighteen will also take us through the fuel supply system and engine starting. We will discuss its main elements and, of course, how it works.
Understanding vehicle construction, the fuel supply system and engine starting is crucial for everyday use and for the correct functioning of the car.
As future drivers we must know the difference between an alternator, starter motor and battery, and importantly also understand how they work, so we know what factors may cause unfavourable load on the vehicle.
At the end we remind you that these materials help organise the most important information, but it is also very important to solve exam tests to regularly check and reinforce your knowledge.
We wish you good luck and see you on the road!
